The brand new Clubhouse, which opened on 1st May 2008, is an impressive building, built on two levels
with immediate visual impact. Stunning water feature and outdoor marble staircase lead to the terrace that has great views over the golf course. The restaurant serves excellent food, with discounts for guests, and there are also tapas and snacks available from the bar. Whichever you choose, you can eat inside or outside at any time of year.

The beach club on La Manga del Mar Menor certainly has the "wow" factor. The stunning building boasts swimming pool, jacuzzi and solarium plus direct access to the
Mediterranean beach where you can try the water sports.

The beaches are great - clean and sandy and many have the prestigious "Blue Flag" award and are patrolled by Red Cross lifeguards in the Summer.
There are so many miles of beach that you can always find a quiet spot, even in August, or head
for one of the beach bars in Los Alcázares if you want a bit more fun! These bars, known as
chiringuitos, have tapas and snacks to keep you going throughout the day - all at reasonable prices. It is also one of the most important spots in the world for sports lovers, water sports abound including swimming, sailing, scuba diving and water skiing, as well as activities such as tennis, trekking or golf. |

Places to go: This list is by no means exhaustive but might give you an idea of what to do when you're not playing golf or sunning yourself on the beach. • Los Narejos, 800 metres, few shops bars and restaurants. • Los Narejos beach, 1.5 km, 2 beach bars and quieter than Los Alcázares. • Los Alcázares, 2 km, holiday resort with oodles of bars and restaurants. • San Javier, 5 km, main town of the area • Santiago de la Ribera, 7 km, lovely Spanish resort with good eateries. • Cartagena, 30 km, historic naval port. • La Manga del Mar Menor, 40 km, see it to believe it! • Murcia, 45 km, regional capital city with fantastic buildings.

In Los Alcázares alone there are 3 centres with lots of eateries where you'll find everything you can think of including Spanish, British, Irish, French, Italian, Chinese, Indian, and Japanese. For the serious shopping fashionistas, the two Centro Commercials close to Murcia, are easily accessible via the motorway and within a 45 minute drive: • The Thader centre is wall to wall clothing stores ranging from well known high street names such as Mango, Zara, C&A to exclusive little boutiques. There are also various other retail outlets including sports shops and Ikea. • The other side of the motorway, is the newly opened Nueva Conomina, the largest shopping mall in europe, it boasts 200 shops and a fantastic range of bars & restaurants - an absolute must for shopaholics.
